Do not come to this dealership for service.

I would like to complain as a young girl that has been lied to by their mechanics and their service men. I have had to arrange for tow service, alone with my car, twice this week- because of their misguidance , dishonesty, and astronomical over-pricing.

An annual maintenance check is required by our manufacturer to be done at Mercedes Benz dealerships. This is a full car checkup that is not due to a specific problem, just a way to make sure that everything is functioning and touched up. Well this dealership charged me $1200 and then our car would not start within 1 month! I brought it back to the dealership and 5 hours later they ran a diagnostic saying that it was just the battery and wanted to charge me $500. I then declined, because even as a car novice, I knew that the battery could not be the issue. AAA battery support then assisted me and said that my battery was completely fine. This meant that the dealership had lied to me that the battery was the issue, was going to over-charge me, and also did not resolve the issue. Needless to say, my car did not start again the next day. I had to tow it again to a different mechanic. I cannot believe that I had to tow my car twice and was equally stranded because of their incompetency. I am a young girl and it just felt like they were taking advantage of that with charging 75% more than independent shops, and not resolving the issue and therefore placing me in very difficult and potentially dangerous situations.

The amount of time I been inconvenienced with having to have my car towed, relocated, and serviced is not acceptable. I would also like to mention that the two times I have my car serviced at this dealership, I had to wait all day- at least 5 hours in the waiting room.

Also the service representatives that work specifically on your car are unreachable. If you ever need to be in contact with them directly to talk about issues- the receptionist will ALWAYS say that they are not at their desk and will call you back- and they do not. I tried the same technique for a manager, and I also received the same response- which must mean that it is a strategy because they do not provide you with their phone numbers at any point during the inspection.

Also, one thing that I found disturbing was that when I was standing near the receptionist- I overheard that she was talking to a customer that wanted her battery replaced on her keys. She told her that they were closing and that she could not get a battery until after the weekend. Then after she hung up, she started laughing and said that all you have to do is go to a general store to get batteries.

I would not recommend this as a service center. Please look elsewhere- it is a dishonest group of people. This is also my first time writing a review- I feel very passionate about warning others of this.
