Introduction to Mindfulness course.

Introduction to Mindfulness course.

Nitima and Karuna are thoughtful, gracious, conscientious, and patient.

They teach meditation techniques for those who have work commitments and maybe don t have so much time for mediation practice. They encourage taking the time of ten minutes each day if you can.

The classes take place in a large, open room with carpets. You take your shoes off before entering.

The meditation which they teach is easy to understand. They remove any confusion and unsure concepts of the practice. They give time to breathing meditations. They recognise that a meditation is not unsuccessful if you allow whatever you feel to be. The group settings allows for questions and discussing individual difficulties.

Their classes and teachings are gentle but have a firm guidance. They appreciate each student and give each one the time and space to express themselves fully.

They enjoy the teachings of Ajahn Brahm who shares relevant stories to explain concepts and teachings.

When you leave, you have 6 individual meditation practices and different techniques which give you something to continue with.

They always seek feedback and welcome people s honesty.

The weekend retreat is also excellent.

Thank you
