the hapuna is a good hotel but if you were expecting any real significant upgrades with the change in ownership, you're going to be disappointed. it's still basically the same hotel but maybe with higher prices. the gym still has the same decrepit equipment that has to be 15 years old. no changes at the pro shop or golf course. the signature restaurant is just another hotel restaurant. that being said, it's still a nice place.
