I have been going to Joeys for years and I m very sad to even give this low of a rating and review, but the quality has been declining. I remember Joeys taking such pride in their food, presentation and service.
We took our extended family to celebrate my daughters confirmation and ordered cocktails, bottle of wine, apitizers, mains and desert. Everything seemed to be over deep fried and hardly palatable. I ordered the chicken sliders for my 3 year old and it had to be returned not once but twice, the second time it came out the chicken was over deep fried (almost burnt) and so unappealing to the eye (there was this long black thing in the chicken/breading). I m shocked this even left the kitchen cause like I ve said I recall Joeys taking pride in final product.
Our server even made a comment about how unappealing it looked. When our bill arrived I just assumed they would have removed the item seeing as it was returned twice and not eaten, but NO it was on the bill.
The steak dish was ordered medium, came out rare, and the pasta sauce on the pasta dish had zero flavour.
I m really sad to say all this cause Joeys has always been one of my favourite places to go to. I m writing this review now cause it s been a long time coming with multiple times of continued disappointment. I m hoping someone in upper management will read this and turn things around.
