An awesome day to spend on the slope. A lesson wit...

An awesome day to spend on the slope. A lesson with an instructor for the kids was well worth the price - gave them the confidence and the basic skills to continue on their own.
Some tips.
Early arrival is a must. Be there 9:30 for 10:00 opening to avoid the queues and to make sure they have enough gear. By midday on busy days all the most popular sizes are gone.
A bit more signage and explanations about where to store the gear when not in use, would be helpful. Beware that any gear placed on the bags at the bottom of the slope is collected by the staff and reused for new customers. Apparently the right place to keep your gear is inside, in any of the racks by the benches.
Tubing in skiing boots is forbidden. If you want to take a break from skiing and just go down in a tube - gotta change boots first.
The restaurant was a bit of a let down. The staff are evidently ran off their feet because tables don't get cleaned for a while, and there's cutlery and napkins missing on the tables. Keep an eye on how crowded it is, because by lunchtime you'll struggle to get a table. Also, avoid chicken fajita - the chicken was really dry, and the DIY fajitas don't quite work.
