I was hit by one of this companies insured 3 weeks...

I was hit by one of this companies insured 3 weeks ago! Luckily my 5 year old son was not hurt! The claims rep through this company treated me with no respect, no compassion at all. It's now been 3 weeks and no word as to what is going to happen. My vehicle is totaled and I'm paying OUT OF POCKET for a rental..I've never dealt with a more unprofessional company. My insurance company has reached out to this company several times and NO response! They sent someone out to look at my car 3 weeks ago. Have yet to be given a copy of the damages. I received 1 letter stating I basically need to sit around and wait to see IF they will compensate and offer a settlement. I've been in accidents before where the other driver was at fault and their insurance companies were professional, sympathetic and handled everything in a very timely manner! Looks like I'll be obtaining a lawyer to handle this company. And being a small business owner myself I would NEVER choose this company to insure my business or vehicle!
