I was looking to buy the GLE350, a $60,000 - $66,000 SUV. I met with the (new car) salesman, Moby Berjaoui, who mentioned that he used to be a used car salesman elsewhere and he lived up to the reputation. I sat next to him at his computer while we "built" the car that I wanted. I couldn't get a straight answer from him. He told me, and the computer showed the price as $62,855. 10 minutes later he told me it was $9,000 more. all he wanted to do was close the deal before I left the showroom. I asked how much the extended warranty cost he said he didn't know and he would have to get the price from a book somewhere else in the building and it would take too long. He said, "wait until you've had the car for 3 years then buy the warranty." When I went home and "built" the car on the Mercedes web site it had all of the extended warranty information with prices. So he lied, he just didn't want to slow the chances of closing the deal right on the spot. I said let's give me a trade-in price for my car and he said he has no incentive to do that since I hadn't committed to buying the car right then and there. shame on you Keyes European Mercedes Benz. you can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig. by the way, I bought the car from a different dealer.
