I walked in for my first pair of Gaynors without an appointment and despite that they had one of their girls fit me in between scheduled clients. They asked me several questions about my past shoes and what I look for in a shoe. My left foot likes to twist its shank and one is a half size larger than the other. They were extremely generous in offering me suggestions and supplies (complimentary) to help control the shank twisting and to fill the extra space of my smaller foot. The only recommendation I have is to special order the suede tips. I wish I had done so on my first pair. Once the satin goes the shoe is pretty much shot. The suede tip makes them last MUCH longer.
