Silverman McGovern worked really hard to find the right placement for me. I moved from out of state and this was the second agency that I approached. The first agency seemed frustrated with me that I didn't want to take temporary administrative placements - I was also working as a bartender during this time. That was a big turn off because I'd been up front about that from the beginning. I would not have hesitated to temp through Silverman McGovern if I didn't have the bartending job, partly because Faye and Alona at Silverman McGovern understood and agreed with my plan to wait for the right opportunity that was a fit with my skills, salary range, and career goals. That built a lot of trust, quickly. They brought several opportunities to my attention throughout the course of a year and I'm thankful that even when I went dark, they would reach out to me with new postings. Faye and Alona are very organized and take a critical approach to the postings. I was not getting notified of postings that were outside of what I was looking for. I'd also like to highlight the value of my initial in-person meetings with Alona and Faye. They gave incredibly valuable feedback on the language and organization of my resume. I felt like Silverman McGovern really cared, and their enthusiasm rallied me to make necessary changes to my resume and brush up on skills to be more marketable. Highly recommend this agency!
