Jennifer Beville Review of Grayhawk Homes, Inc

If I could give them zero stars I would. Our house has had major foundation issues since it was five years old. We are about to have to deal with the foundation for the second time on a now 13 year old house and will be out well over $30,000- and that s just to stabilize the problem from getting worse- to actually fix it is something we couldn t even start to afford as it would cost much more. We contacted Grayhawk when the foundation issues first occurred 8 years ago and they said it wasn t their problem- and were actually quite rude about us even calling. They never should have tried to build this house on a pile of dirt (or possibly quicksand) they pushed together next to a creek to try to squeeze one more home in the subdivision- and we never should have bought it, but would have liked to think the builder took appropriate precautions building on this location. The house has literally been falling in the creek since it was built- and since it didn t fall in before the check cleared and it isn t their home they could care less. Our neighbor across the street has also had similar foundation issues starting around the same time (5 years old)- so there is clearly a theme and not just our bad luck. They either made a poor decision about where to build a house or built the house poorly- either way, I would stay far far away unless you want to lose your biggest investment!
