So wonderful - I can't say enough about the quality of care, treatment and level of compassion I was shown by Dr. Mac, Dr. Girard and their entire staff at Port Chiro. I am a Lyme patient, was seeking pain relief and mobility support through chiropractic work and the hyperbaric oxygen chamber. I received a full assessment, and over an hour to review and deeply understand my protocol. It started slowly, working up to larger adjustments - it was absolutely the right approach. I instantly trusted Dr. Mac and never one felt "off" after an adjustment. Each appt included muscle stim, targeted stretching, percussion therapy, etc.

The other thing that impressed me was the in depth science backed information he shared about the brain. I ended up doing the neurological testing as well, expensive but a one time deal to really understand what's going on, and set you up for long term healing and real results - NOT just symptom relief. Getting the brain back in order was key to activating my body to start healing. The combined modalities of tilt table, eye exercises, cold laser, TMJ massage, etc was very effective. Non-invasive. Everyone was so friendly, calm, positive and communicative - you just walk in the door and go wherever your next treatment is and it's a breeze.

Lastly, places across the US gauge you for HBOT treatment. The pricing was reflective of someone who really wants to help people heal, and puts people over price, plus the time Dr.Mac invests in learning about the benefits proves again how dynamic this level of care is. It's one of the most effective, cumulative therapies I've done. I've done ozone treatments, cryo, etc. With HBOT I felt reduction in pain, and could think more clearly - I felt like myself again. The practice does everything they can to make payments flexible, and they are happy to spend time educating you about what's going on with your insurance, so you are not blindly paying anything. Truly impressive. I moved away so I'm bummed I won't be there anymore. It was honestly something I looked forward to and was in their office 3-4 times per week, always hilarious and fun even during Covid. As someone who has seen over 50+ practitioners, it was really healing to feel taken care of and I continue to be so grateful! Thank you thank you thank you. Mag:)
