Overall, we had a really bad experience delivering our baby. They pressured my wife constantly about doing a c-section before she was even fully checked in. They are big fans of hospital intervention. Nonetheless, they got what they wanted by admitting her, far too early, and using drugs to speed up labor. At one point her blood pressure dropped dangerously low, and I had to complain at the desk, to a manager, who was surprised that the nurse had let her pressure dropped so low.
Then by the time we wanted her to get an epidural, they made that very complicated, and took forever, while my wife suffered and it seemed like it was nothing but pressure, and then when we finally complied, there's nothing but delays.
After my wife gave birth, I was fortunate enough for them to allow me to be with my baby while my wife recovered. The rules were, I could only watch my baby laying in a plastic container, I was not allowed to touch or hold our baby, and he laid there alone for his first few hours after birth, with little or no human contact other than a nurse that treated him like a chimp at a zoo.
