The Compagnieshaven is quite convenient if you start a shore leave from the marina. The city center is practically opposite, and you don't need a taxi to go shopping, even if you are not very good on foot. The sanitary facilities are okay, and even on Sunday mornings you can get everything you need at the small supermarket, from bread to coffee. Overall, this marina is one of the larger jetties ... small and cozy can be found elsewhere on the IJsselmeer. And because there is almost always something going on here, you don't need a book to relax on a weekend trip. :-)
