This 1 week vacation in March was pure relaxation for us.

As soon as we entered the entrance hall, we were thrilled. Everything was very nice, clean, bright, noble and generously built. The reception was friendly and helpful.

For a better overview, the rest follows in bullet points:

+ huge
+ extensive
+ always clean
+ always with gardeners in the bushes or staff who checked the cleanliness
+ beautiful with plants, lots of green space, ponds, bridges, etc.
+ well maintained
+ Bike rental

The room 4 *
+ comfortable bed
+ lots of space
+2 large mirrors
+ Rain shower
+ top cleanliness
+ extra cleaning on demand
+ minibar refill during the day
+ Clothes rail on balcony
-TV sounded like a razor, German channels didn't run smoothly - after reporting it ran more smoothly, background noise was not eliminated
-Furniture could be modernized

The pool 4 *
+ extensive
- mostly clean, but there was a lot of wind, some leaves etc. were blown into the water

+ small warm pool
+ Jacuzzi Island -> very warm
+ lots of loungers and umbrellas
(-felts or rollers should be mounted under the couches, since the sliding noises of the couches are annoying)

The service 5 * +
+ At any time of day or night the staff was friendly, in a good mood, attentive, helpful and absolutely not fake
+ English confident, German partly good

The animation 3-4 *
-You often had to tell the nice ladies and gentlemen that you do NOT want to take part in their games and that you do not want any excursions and no spa treatment -> every day

The weather in March (not included in the hotel rating;)



- consistently strong wind, which barely let us feel the hot weather

The food (buffet) 3 *
+ The selection was gigantic
-Quantity over quality
-Service at breakfast seemed a bit unmotivated (every day around half past ten)

On the Al Dau Promenade (right in front of the door) we bought shoes on the left and super fine fragrances in the oil shop for little money. We also had very nice conversations with the locals here.
On the right side we were almost pulled into the shop by every seller. Here we walked to the end and went into a shop where the seller didn't ambush us. Here we bought watches, got a drink and batteries for everyone, and he also gave us the tip to walk back across the street. Very nice guy. Last shop on the corner.

Excursions were cheaper from the hotel than from TUI. We didn't go on a trip ourselves, but heard that the trip to Luxor didn't take 3 hours, as stated by the TUI guy, but almost 5 hours.

Even though the airport is so close we couldn't hear a plane and saw about 3.
We are 10 minutes from the airport. drove to the hotel. We felt absolutely safe at all times.

Overall, we had a great week here. We could have used the partner hotel Aqua Magic, but there were too many children and too high a noise level.

We were disappointed with the food, as it did not meet our expectations in any way and thus clouded the price-performance ratio a bit.
If we hadn't had a la carte restaurants with us, this holiday would definitely have been too expensive for us.
