This unit is set up by the Tata group in collaboration with Marcopolo of Brazil.
They build buses. This is a state if art plant spread over 100 of acres.
Lot of greenery and large water body for birds and small animals!
Currently they are building electric bus for various state transport corporations.
I spoke to one of the associate's , one electric bus can travel 300 kms on single charge. Also it takes about 4 hrs to recharge. Comfortable, a/c, low floor buses.
About 3000 employees work here. The security and safety is given lot of importance, which is a good thing.
