Camp Kinder Ring is a private summer camp that with the nearly 400 campers will bring in 2 millions dollars+ this summer. With the hefty price tag per child you would this this is a world class summer camp. You could not be more wrong. The camp is dated and in poor to decent shape at best. They hire around 75 college students from over seas instead of hiring locally so they can pay them $1200 for the ENTIRE summer. Subtract the 600 euro fee the students pay from that and you have yourself some of the cheapest labor available.(Well below minimum wage.) With saving so much in labor costs you would think they would be able to local staff at a higher rate. No they want to pay their kitchen staff $10 an hour and thier maintaince staff $12, even with years of experience. Where s the money going?
