The location and view are excellent. However we were bitterly disappointed with the food, service and response from management to the complaint I raised.

Ordered a smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs and side of scrambled eggs. The poached eggs were well overdone and not runny like stones. Scrambled eggs dry and not silky like they should be. When you're paying $21 for avocado toast and eggs you expect it to be done properly. We sent the food back via the waiter who seemed to identify straight away the eggs were overdone and to speak to Ray the manager on the way out.

When we approached the till he didn't ask anything about the food and just processed the full bill of $40 without question. I had to mention the waiter had said just to fix up the coffees as we hadn't eaten any of our food. The manager then proceeded to say to me he saw the eggs and there were still runny bits in it and "they were fine". He asked if we had the requested the poached eggs runny - I'm not sure where you need to ask for this as this is how they should come.

Manager proceeded to argue with me about the food and offered to pay 1/2 the bill. We paid $20 for 2 coffees and half a smoothie as the food was hardly touched.

Adding to this they have baby high chairs with no seat belts. We couldn't restrain our 15 month old which surely has to be a safety risk. I'm yet to go to any restaurant where seat belts have been removed from the chairs. When I asked about this I was told that people hardly use them and they've had kids get tangled in them - I find this hard to believe, but he also said others have complained they are missing at the same time.

I won't rush back.
