My name is Paul. I stayed in Orlando East UCF Holiday inn.
My wife's Uncle died the day before we arrived at this hotel.
I was busy picking her sister in Atlanta area and drove over 10hrs to get to Orlando where my wife's uncle lives.
My wife's Uncle died of heart attack so we were at shock so we dropped everything work, kids and ect.
When we were arrived at this hotel it was little after 4am Saturday morning. Since I am a platinum member maybe this hotel will understand this unforeseen circumstances with family's death.
I was asking them if any rooms available can we go ahead and stay there for few hours early. That way I don't have to pay one extra night's payment on Saturday.

I told him I will pay for the full night for checking in few hours early...


The desk person this time, his name was James, he told me there were too many late check out requests and more than 50% of all customers got awarded late check outs and because of that I would not be getting late check outs.
I was shocked again it was 10:56 am and my baby was still sleeping in the room and my wife and her sister were just starting eating breakfast at hotel's restaurants.

Basically, he told me you got 5mins to get out of the room. So much for my membership privileges. I had to call my wife to stop eating food and this hotel is kicking us out right at this moment.
My wife was so upset and embarrassed in front of her sister. She was just bragging to her sister about our long term relationship with IHG company.
We took everything out in less than 5 mi s and got out of this wonderful hotel.
We will have t to come back and attend my wife's family's funeral and we reserved this hotel next week but than I did not want to be treated like 3rd class citizens. I CANCELED THE NEXT RESERVATION!!!

I will never go back there ever again.
Will be better off sleeping in the streets.

This was the worst Hotel experience in my life time!
