I spent a weekend last March in Manhattan meeting with different brokers to see property. After a fruitless search on Friday and Saturday, I met Scott Rubin in his office at Mark David. He asked a few questions about what I was looking for, and sent me and my girlfriend off with an associate to see some properties. The very first one we saw was spectacular. The price was right, it was clean and well-maintained, and it was in a better location than anything we had previously been to. It was literally light-years beyond the s***holes other brokers had tried to pawn off as prime units. We signed that day, and I will never use another broker.
