My wife and I went to Grace & Grit last night for a date night. It was our first ever visit. We called and made a reservation for the patio at 7:30. Taylor was very helpful on the phone and when we arrived. They took our temperature and we waited outside while they got our table cleaned. At the table, there was a contactless menu that you scanned a QR code with your phone. We ordered a grit flight for the table and the Bacon Creamed Corn Hushpuppies (see photos). The grit flight had Pimento Cheese (my favorite), Brussels Pesto, Sweet Potato and Blueberry (photo from top to bottom). For dinner, I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken with "Red Rice" Grits, Collard Greens and Hot Honey. I loved it and the flavors went so well together! My wife ordered the Local Shrimp N Grits and she was happy with her decision also. The food was exquisite and the service was top notch! Best service I've had in recent memory. Several people came by our table to make sure everything was great including chef/owner Frank Kline. We highly recommend you try this local restaurant in Mt. Pleasant and know that it is very safe to eat here during COVID.
