Very poor customer service from Craig Strand, one ...

Very poor customer service from Craig Strand, one of the Golf Pros, at St. Charles Golf and Country Club. My son's custom clubs were ordered on 23rd of June and were due on July 5th. It was estimated 5 to 10 working days.Despite being told that he was returning to Scotland where he lives and works on 18 July, the clubs did not come in time. My son called repeatedly (the staff neither listen nor communicate with each other), but they did not bother following up on the order until we began to complain vehemently. Apparently there was a "delay"...of which we were never informed. When I asked for the clubs to be shipped to Scotland where he lives they tried to say they didn't know he was leaving (they did!), and of course blamed Ping. I picked them up and will ship them myself. I cannot be bothered with their excuses. Interestingly they questioned us as to whether we were referred by a member (we know several people that play at St. Charles). This seems totally irrelevant, but leads me to believe they treat their members much different than they treat their non-members. If this is in fact their policy I would not imagine they get very many new members in their club. My hopes in posting this is that I can spare someone else considering getting custom clubs from St. Charles, the frustration, unprofessionalism and lack of competence that we experienced. I would recommend that you order custom clubs somewhere else.
