Quaint, clean, friendly. Old fashioned motel, with the doors of rooms that open right onto parking lot, and you can park right outside room door. Helpful staff.
Nice full breakfast (waffles, pastries, toast, instant oatmeal, fruit, hard boiled eggs, cold cereal).
Outdoor pool is small but clean. Says heated pool on sign, but it was pretty chilly. Long pool hours (9an to 10 pm) nice for traveling with kids.
Also nice for families are the family rooms... enter into a room with 2 queen beds and a sink, plus separate room with shows and toilet. At back of room, a door enters I to separate bedroom with king bed. Complimentary toiletries included and decent towels. Linens on bed right out of early 1980s (or 1970s), so you can consider it "dated" or "ambiance."
If it matters to you, some rooms still have old-school boxy t.v.s and some have flat screen, so ask about that when reserving or checking in.
