As someone who has worked in a customer service role, I was shocked at how rude the guy at the ski counter was to me yesterday. I had a valid question about how I was charged for renting skis due to the store being closed on Easter Sunday. Before he could even understand my question fully, he was defensive, outright disrespectful, and embarrassing as he was argumentative in front of other witnessing customers and coworker. He argued that he wasn't the one that charged me and that I am wrong. Even if that is so, the way the situation was handled was uncalled for. If you represent the company you should act like you care about who walks through the door and hear customers concerns. In the long term, this company will be losing more business due to their present actions and attitude.
