I would highly recommend a person to stay away from this hospital. First off I have no complaint with the ER doctor on call, he was very nice and seemed to be fairly thorough in his work practices. I went in with a chest pains and pressure on my chest Sunday night. The gentleman at the front desk was fairly and I emphasize FAIRLY quick on placing me to an EKG machine. The nurse who took my info was hateful on my response as to what I was doing when my chest started hurting I told her I had just made the bed and was standing in the bathroom door way. Her response was "you were just standing there?? Staring"??? The nurse who put the hep in my arm jabbed it in and taped it up where my arm had folds of skin
overlapping each other taped down and was painful the whole time I was in there. She only came in twice the whole 4 hours and that was only by Drs instructions to give me potassium. I layed there with no blanket to cover with for 3 of those 4 hours until I got so cold I had to ask for a blanket. Towards the end of my nightmare I had to go to the bathroom and as I said before the nurse was no where to be seen. I seen no call button for I was in a exam room not a hospital in patient room to call a nurse, I needed help because I had the sensors taped to my chest and stomach. I eventually had to unhook them, take my BP cuff off get dressed and go find a bathroom in the hall outside my room. I seen no one in the hall and upon my return no one had been in, so they never even knew I had unhooked myself and left for the bathroom. My urine, upon giving them when I first was taking to exam room was STILL sitting on the bedside table where x-ray told me to put it upon my leaving the facility. They came and got bloodwork twice, EKG twice, and I told them each time they came in that no one has came to retrieve it for testing. Dont know what they did with it after I left. I was told I would receive a call from them to set up a STRESS test for wednesday the following morning, Monday, which they did. But I was in the shower when they called. I immediately called them back only to get registrations automated voicemail saying to hold on or leave a message. I did both of those, SEVERAL TIMES FOR 2 1/2 DAYS. I left numerous messages to no avail. No one would return my call. Every time I called I would get automated. Everytime I would leave a message. Do they not check messages?? And I KNOW they can't be THAT busy for 2 almost 3 days to not pick up the phone as many times each day I called. This further infuriated me and caused me stress that I did not need. I do EXPECT to see my rating on this site and please do not send your prewritten response as you've done others..... it's a joke and a waste of my time as well as u know, yours.
