Although Dr Tiryaki did a good job it was not without problems
because he is not permanently in the Uk and has a Practice in Istanbul it made things more problematic

no notes where left when to take the stitches and staples out,

when the stitches and staples where taken out by the nurse she managed to unpick the scab and I ended up with a open wound through the night there was blood everywhere, I called the on call but no answer
that had to be re -done with another plastic surgeon because Dr Tiryaki was not in the county



twice I needed the out of hours (but to no avail )

Be Aware they are only there to give advice there is nothing they can do (that's if they Answer at all )

because they have no overnight facility and everything is done as a day case operation like face lifts

I would most certainly not have it done there again.
I think its very important just for observation and your own peace of mind that you are in a place you can spend one night just incase something does go wrong.

I was in a panic the first night Because I had a reaction to the eye gel that was put into my eyes during the operation

Also I was never told about the drains into the back of my neck to collect the blood this made me panic and the staples made my sleep so uncomfortable until 12 days later when they came out

I also feel the recovery and the extent of swelling and numbness and things that really can go wrong is very underplayed at the consultation, 1 month later I cannot feel my ears or all the tissue around it , I was told this will take 3 months
if I really knew how traumatic it was at the beginning would I have still gone ahead with it

I m not so sure

The facilities are very clean very modern but very cramped -no private rooms
