From the photos I had seen on the hotel website, I honestly expected more. Fundamentally it should be a quiet and modern hotel. Unfortunately when I arrived at the reception, I thought I had the wrong place and it was a subway station because there were hundreds of people, guys screaming and running everywhere and only 2 people attending. When I consulted because of all the fuss, they told me that being a winter vacation is usually noisier than normal. As for the rooms, they are spacious but quite poor in terms of warmth. You can tell they are a bit old and above all if you open the windows you can hear the cars on the street as if they were inside. The best thing about the hotel is its pool on the roof of the 7th floor. The rest is quite regular. If you can, try to stay closer to Parque del Buen Retiro, for the Goya side, which is a much nicer neighborhood
