If you have absolutely no choice and you can't travel to a 24hr animal hospital elsewhere and you have a couple of thousands you don't need for vacationing or retirement then you do what you have to do. Otherwise I would honestly recommend not using this Veterinarian. They bleed me dry for $1200 + $80 ( for meds and food) to treat my dog for diarrhea. They have no empathy what's so ever towards the pet owner. It's a "pay or pray" situation at this clinic. I mean my dog wasn't doing great and want to believe she was cared back to health by them but I felt they were exploiting the situation by the fact the I was so concerned and emotional for her health and guilted me into paying for all these services that most likely I didn't need. Their prices are outrageous and they do not offer discounts or work with you if you look financially distressed. Everything is answered with " I'm sorry". After $1200 we left with a better feeling dog but no answers on what caused her diarrhea or her condition. They even wanted to juice me for another day of hospitalization for another $200 plus what they charge for IV and catheterization. This all happened during the weekend so their seems to be a skeleton crew and a Veterinarian only comes in if needed too. This clinic operates as a business $$, not a love of the profession type place. If you seek Empathy or consideration. I'm not sure your going to get much of that here. So if you just moved in the area or are a new pet owner. Please vet the veterinarians in your area because it sucks when you have to decide between your mortgage payment or your dog's life.
