The Intermountain Human Society will always hold a special place in my heart. Thanks to the way they run I found my best friend. I know this sounds like a typical response, perhaps over the top, but as a result of the best friend that I adopted from them my life has changed in nothing but amazing ways. I loved the process of adopting through them. I have worked as a Veterinary Technician for 10+ years and as a result I have worked with many animal rescues. Unfortunately many of them are either way too strict with the adoption process, or way too relaxed. Intermountain Human Society has found that perfect middle ground. They are making sure that the pets they are re-homing will have the perfect forever home while they don't scare off potential quality adopters at the same time.

The inside of their facility was very impressive and I have known many people that have found their best friends, that they never knew they needed, as a result of IMHS. I will never to be able to thank IMHS and the amazing people that run it enough for how they have enriched my life. They helped me find a dog that matched my lifestyle and here we are 4 years later and we do absolutely everything together. The Intermountain Humane Society is a staple of our community and I would adopt from them again without hesitation.
