jack's is my favorite chain restaurant, but this place is depressing. the counter person was rude and lethargic, a spiritual victim perhaps of the nasty-looking street people lounging about. (to the staffer's credit, she granted my request to substitute an extra egg for the sausage on my sandwich.)

JACK, THIS THING IS A BLIGHT.
