A massive moan is that they make you queue needlessly for the water slides - you have to wait until the last person comes off the slide, gets changed and has dried their hair before another person gets on. Most kids don't bother waiting for the slides after one or two goes.

Of course, there are positives. There's lots to do (more so if you pay oodles of cash), the accommodation is great (better than Bognor and Minehead) and the site is well maintained.

We probably won't fork out for Butlins again (we'll do airbnb next to a theme park instead). It's best value if your kids are under six.
