We bought land in diamond creek from a subdivision. The build has been held up due to the council taking 9 months to decide on a path and road shape (court). Now that we can finally submit plans, finally! And all finalised! But can t get in touch with the one person dealing with all the planning process, this has been happing since oct. I understand over Christmas and New Years is an expected delay due to holidays (which I don t get because I work in a hospital) and considing it s now feb. I keep calling but get put through to other people that can t answer any questions regarding the delay but can speak on behalf of the person I wish to talk to. The longer this takes, the less time we have to build and get out first home owners grant. Very disappointed with the communication and professionalism. If you are desperate for any reply you are best to email, but the questions are still there. If there is a problem the council is best to be honest and communicate this so we can rectify it and enable us the chance to plan ahead
