FYI-Make sure you take a picture of your actual online prerequisite certification prior to taking a class, and don't rely on the Red Cross to email it to you, even if it says it will. After driving in rush hour Denver traffic for +60 min (yay) to make it to this class, I was asked immediately for proof that I did the online portion. Fair enough. It was emailed right? No problem-wrong. No email. I was basically told I have 10 min to figure it out, or I wasn't allowed to continue. Spent time on the phone, logged back in to the online portal, etc, nothing worked. I assured the instructed there is no way that I would be here if I didn't do part 1 first, yet I somehow couldn't get over the fact that I was made to feel like I was lying. 'People have tried it before' yadda yadda. 20 min in to this fiasco I decided to leave annoyed and upset, and spent +20 min on the phone with Red Cross (understandable since the country is environmentally is imploding right now). Long story short, I was told that these things happen from time to time, and I was unfortunately the unlucky one who experienced one of their glitches. Moral of the story: take a picture of your certifaction before you put all of your daily energy into getting this course completed.
