I went on 10/31 for engery assistance I was due to cut off on 11/5. I was told that I didnt need to worry that it would be covered. Day of shut off they still havent done anything. I've called everyday for nearly 2 weeks for an answer. Never once have they returned a phone call. Had to have an extension in my electric bill. I am a single working mom with 4 kids. 2 of which are disabled. And here I am again day of cut off and they wont return my call. I work. I pay taxes. Havent asked for help in 10 years! Yet people who dont work dont try and help themselves get free housing and dont have to worry about not having electric for there children. This system is set up for people who dont try and refuse to work and not for those of us who just rarely need alittle help for the well being of our children. This is pathetic. Thanks for nothing.
