Harry Coffill Review of FOX Collision Center

I am sitting at my desk the second week after the promised due date for my collision repair.
I had a fender-bender with some small cosmetic damage and a broken taillight. I made an appointment to drop the car off for repair. It took three weeks to wait for the appointment. When dropping off the car, I was told it would take "about a week."
After one week, I started calling. I was told "the parts weren't there yet." (Then why did I wait four weeks for an appointment?) I was told it was "done with painting and waiting for re-assembly." I was told it was "waiting for detailing." I was told--today--that it was "waiting for wash and inspection."
I'm now well over a week past my promised delivery date. It's 3:08 pm and I still don't have my truck. Today's answer was "I'm not sure I can get it for you by tomorrow?" (Yesterday, they PROMISED me "tomorrow!") Think I'll get a call back this afternoon?
These delays are costing me money. I use my truck for work-related jobs. I currently cannot return a load of materials that I'm renting, as I cannot fit them in a borrowed sedan. I can only imagine how much this would be costing me if I was renting a replacement vehicle.
The mendacity of this collision shop has been palpable. I hope their repairs are as good as their lies.
