Hiring an attorney is always a challenge. Especially when you not only don t live in the state but you have no idea who this person is and how well he or she is going to be able to handle your case. We always think that we are in the right and have been unjustly treated. In my case, it was my ex-husband who stopped paying me alimony.
After researching law firms online and a few follow-up phone calls, I chose the Rice Law Firm. I live in San Diego, Calif., and the firm in Daytona Beach, Fla.
My first encounter was with the paralegal, Ashleigh. She was concerned and a good listener with a calming voice. She was informative and reassuring that Mr. Bonamo could handle the case.
Mr. Bonamo was mindful of time, which equates to money, and very mindful of the charges. He told me what needed to be done and we moved forward. He guided me through the process and was always available for questions and explanations.
Jodi in billing notified me before the bill was due to double check how the bill would be paid.
The office communication with a client is paramount. This office really had excellent communication.
Not living in Florida, I was not sure how the mediation was going to go. The mediator, Pamela Masters Esquire, was a pleasant surprise. She is one smart lady who helped facilitate our mediation and navigate us to a resolution.
I am grateful for this team and I highly recommend them.
