I really wish I would have read the reviews before choosing to purchase my gown from Bel Fiore.

Be Warned!!

I am out of state and made an appointment with Be Fiore in January. This was the second bridal appt that I attended that day and the sales consultant was friendly enough and kind.

I chose my dress and made the decision that I would purchase the dress along with a veil and belt totally almost $4000 dollars.

They let me know at check out that they needed to order a larger size than I had tried on in order for it to fit and because of this it was going to make the price go up. Which I agreed to because they said that is what was best.

Seemingly everything was great! Until the dress can in!

They called me to let me know that it had arrived to the store and I scheduled an appointment for alterations through the store. I asked the sales associate on the phone a ball park figure for alterations so i could be prepared I knew it would not be exact.

she told me they could not give out an exact number but she had seen alterations run as much as $900-1500$ and 60% was due upfront and my dress needed a lot of work since I planned on adding a cap sleeve.

I made a decision then and there that I would not be paying anywhere close to that for alterations and my grandmother that was a seamstress for many years agreed to make them for me. They turned out amazing btw.

The problem lies in the fact that when I tried the dress on it was at least 4 or 5 sizes too large. It looked like a giant white trash bag with lace. I was devastated. I could not understand how after being measured with no clothes on how that was even possible! My street size is a 20-22. They ordered as size 30!!!! For my dress. I am aware dress sizes can vary and run smaller but never have I seen this big or a sizing gap!!!

That was not the end. I picked up my veil that day too and went home being told my belt had still not made it in and would arrive at a later date. They agreed to ship the belt to me because I m out of state which was great and they did.

When the belt arrived it was too small.





I called Bel Fiore to see what was going on and they said that my veil and her veil came in on the same day and were mislabeled as to who they were supposed to belong to. Which honestly is an honest mistake but after all of the other events that have occurred this was just icing on the cake.

I am disappointed to say the least. I have been put through a ton of unneeded stress and worry about a part of my wedding that I thought was handled. It took my grandmother approximately 5 fittings to get the dress fitted. Although the dress fits it s not the dress I fell in love with at the store because of the extensive amount of work that was needed. The illusion back puckers and there is not much that can be done. I mean I already have buttons to the top of my crack because the dress was so big.

I m being positive and moving forward because I now have a gown and veil and a pieced together belt that will work for my weddings and the important part is that I m marrying the love of my life!

I would not advise you use this bridal shop unless you buy of the rack. Which I m not even sure they do.
I am currently seeking legal recourse and weighing my options. I am saddened that after reading the reviews I m not the first person this has happened to in very similar fashion. Feel free to contact me with questions or concerns.
