I just brought my cat in, because for no apparent reason, her leg broke. Was told it would have to be surgically repaired with pins. Asked Dr. how this could have happened, and he said he had no idea. If he had looked more closely at x ray, maybe he would have seen thinner bone on broken leg than the other. I ended up bringing her an hour away to the only surgeon I could find who would take her imnediately, and she said that cat may have bone cancer and wasn't a candidate for a pin. Had to have a leg amputated. I think if the doctor had been a little more knowledgable about his business, I wouldn't have had to drive an hour away to get her the treatment she needed, and paid premium money when I got there. I think the doctor's assumption was that I was somehow responsible for my cats injury. I also think maybe it's time to take my business elsewhere.
