It was a nice hotel but the area it was in was quite run down. Certain areas of the hotel definitely need an update.
The staff were exceptionally friendly except for a lady in the restaurant and a man at the front desk. Other then those two everyone else was very helpful, smiling and polite. All the staff spoke English which was a huge relief as neither my daughter nor I speak French.
For exercise enthusiasts there is a wonderful path across from the hotel called the Voyager Trail which travels in both directions along the Ottawa River. Its very beautiful and quiet. Lots of cyclists, runners and walkers use it. It was a definite bonus for me.
