It was more an Auditorium than a memorial to the great S.W.R.D. Bandarnaike , sadly the really interesting part namely the museum which should have been given a more prominent location is tucked away at the side instead of having centre stage. They have created a really fine chronology of events that shaped and effected his life and sad death. It is a really must see if you ever visit Colombo. Sadly I wished they had also catalogued his wife and the world's first Woman head of state journey too.
