We went at 7pm and caught the last hour before closing which was just enough time to visit the small museum and see tour the whole site (another 30 minutes would have been perfect). The light at this time of day was absolutely beautiful. The site is well laid out with explanatory posts along the way and a clear and easy pathway laid out to guide you around. Great views from the site over the plains that run down to the port of Nafplion.
