I only stayed here once because my office is literally a 2 minute walk from Grand Central. The location is great, but I'm mostly discounting the rating because my toilet was broken before I even checked in. That just created a hassle that I did not want to deal with after a long day of traveling and working. One plus that this hotel has over the W on Lexington is that the rooms are much more spacious (relatively for NYC), so you don't have to worry about bumping into things if you need to get up in the middle of the night when nature calls :) ...as long as your toilet's not broken.
