Bath Cathedral

Bath Cathedral

Bath Cathedral is a jewel of Gothic architecture.
Similar to the Cologne Cathedral, the builders used the free-standing struts, which give the building stability, as well as the open and airy appearance.

The cathedral is located in the middle of the city surrounded by many small shops, as well as the numerous bath houses and thermal baths.

Directly south of the cathedral is a small but very good Italian ice cream parlor, where the price per ball is really worth it.

The cathedral can be visited for a fee and you can walk around on the roof and enjoy the view over Bath.

During my visit, the preparations for Halloween were in full swing, including in the church square with a skeleton on a tricycle.
