I have been in business for 40 years and this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are deceptive and in many ways dishonest. When I first hired them I thought it was odd that they kept requesting documents I had already sent them and when I spoke to the CPA Ron Nagle on the phone, he would interrupt me and change the subject to discuss information I already knew or give me a sales pitch to hire him for other services. Then he would charge me for this wasted time plus add up to an hour to prepare for the call that he requested I take. After being billed over $22,000 I was told that they were only 60% done with the return. I have contacted other CPA firms and 2 Tax Attorneys who told me this type of return should cost between $4,000 and $7,000. It is obvious that Peterson Sullivan is creating a lot of billable hours while not working on the return. When I requested a copy of the return to review what has be done, they refused. When we asked for an estimate to finish the return, they refused. When we asked them questions regarding a possible family business deduction, they refused to response to my questions. The invoices I have receive include hours of billable time for refusing to answer questions. Plus they billed me for time spent sending bank statements to a lawyer that wasn t legally allowed to view them. After spending over $20,000 I had to just take the loss and hire another CPA. After terminating service with Peterson Sullivan they billed me for time spent being terminated. It is so ridiculous. I have been totally scammed by this company. Over $20,000 spent and nothing has been received.
