The best you can get on Slovenian seaside, though still not exactly comparable to other Kempinski's out there, and other top class hotels and resorts in the "developed" tourist places. They engage the cheapest staff and it seems, don't educate and prepare them enough. And some of the chiefs are just not demanding enough, not noticing those small defects that make the difference, like that the white coats of employees have coffee stains, and some parts of the hotel are just not cleaned etc.... Typical Istrian easy going in many ways, but this cannot be adequate with the price they demand. Nevertheless, 4 stars, because the hotel itself is historically gorgeous.
