Fantastic pub with super friendly staff and owners. The Yew Tree is well worth making a detour for. It's a fairly small pub, and dog friendly too. Superb and wholesome pub food cooked with passion and served with a smile! We had salt & pepper squid and torpedo prawns for starters, followed by a HUGE bowl of mussels, thick, juicy burgers and shoulder of lamb that fell apart when touched with a fork! Sticky toffee pudding for dessert was excellent, as well as the rich Chocolate & Guinness cake. Jasper and Matt are the hosts with the most!
