This place is downright frightening. I had pulmonary embolisms (both lungs) and was hospitalized for a week in the cardiac unit. The care and facility overall were sub par. The hospitalists were rude, uncaring, and dismissive. The nurses were aloof. My pain medication was abruptly stopped with the plan of transitioning from IV to pill form, except the hospitalist forgot to order the pills and didn t correct her error for 24 hours. I wasn t bathed and the sheets weren t changed the entire week. As this was my first hospital stay, I didn t know that this is standard. I cleaned myself with baby wipes all week. The mattress was old, lumpy, and completely worn out. The facility is dark and outdated. On a positive note, the food was decent. Otherwise, it is a third world facility.
