Staff should have been kind about demanding a passport in addition to a driver's license from an old Mom on a Tuesday night to see an 18+ show at 7:30pm. The screw you attitude was absolutely shocking. I was treated like a 16 year old busted with a stolen ID at a 21+ event. Despite that, my middle-aged self returned with my new passport as instructed.

What the hell kind of way is that to treat your adult patrons with adult incomes on a weeknight as your market share shrinks by the day? Stop the snark and eye rolls.

Not only that, but I met a lovely underaged girl on the smoking patio who explained how she got herself on the guest list and was never asked to show ID at the door. How did I meet this beautiful young girl? In the middle-aged mom crew I was hanging out with, one of us used to be her babysitter. Pretty cool huh! It was a reunion of children and elders, all drinking together under the same roof. She wasn't old enough to buy cigarettes - so I gave her some of MINE!

There are a myriad of venues in town. If you're grown and you're ready to spend money at the bar, this isn't the place.

They don't consistently card children, but watch out old ladies, they'll make sure to lay down the law on you.

I don't buy the compliance defense. Review your security footage.
