The room I'm in has that odor that I've come to expect in every older hotel in the south east US. Damp and maybe a bit moldy. Not my favorite smell. But this room (827) is not that bad. If there was cigarette smoking is allowed in the room, which thankfully is not permitted, the room would smell really horrible. So let's hope nobody ever smokes in these rooms! (Permitted or not, it would be very bad because smoke smell would get in the drapes and carpet and bedding.

I don't like that only valet parking is near and in front of the hotel, and self-paid-parkingi around the side. Valet parking was almost empty. How much do they charge, who cares.

The self-park hotel parking lot was expensive. How do they get away with that, charging guests to park? I won't be staying here again now that I know there are other good hotels very nearby.

The room was not too clean when I checked in at 5 pm. Countertops and sink top had not been wiped of hair and coffee spills. Yeck.

Beds were soft but also worn out, drooping in the middle. Vibration and Noise at night never ended, from other people's air conditioning? I don't know. Mine was off.

Shower was good. Warm to hot water, and the towels were large and clean.

Breakfast cost a fortune here. $25 with tax and tip. Oh my God that is expensive. Instead, on the second morning I drove 1 mile and had a good healthy 12" Subway with an orange juice for under $10. Better food.
