When we set out to purchase a Certified Used Vehic...

When we set out to purchase a Certified Used Vehicle from Toyota of Grand Rapids, we didn t expect to have such a poor experience. Our certified vehicle has proven to be a previously wrecked vehicle. The first issue we noticed was the body panels were out of alignment. When we brought this to their attention we were able to get it repaired and we're thankful for that. But now we are questioning their certification all together because when they sold the truck to us they said We wouldn t sell you a truck thats been wrecked and both tail lights had been replaced with non OEM amazon specials. The drivers seat is loose (I m guessing due to being rear ended). Every time you hit the brakes or accelerate the seat rocks making a clunk noise. What happens if we were to be in an accident? Does the seat break more and I or my wife end up injured?

Further more, right on the Toyota Certified website there is a line that states Truck Bed is in good condition . This is not the case as the bed has two spots with nearly no metal left at all due to rust. Yes there was a drop in liner but they should have noticed that when it was on the lift during certification. Another question is why were the tires and brakes being replaced at 36k miles? I ve been through my share of vehicles and never once has one needed either of these items at such mileage.

We put our trust in Toyota of GR with a Certified Used because of the Toyota standards. Had I known it would bring us such expense I would have purchased the new truck for another $80-$100 bucks a month.
