Last night we dined here for dinner, which was even more elevated than the lunch we had here last year! Guy Savoy s creations are thoughtful AND playful. Furthermore, the servers were too. We were seven Americans who lacked refinement in terms of French standards. However, the staff was kind and humored us through fourteen or so small courses of the MOST divine food!!! The five hour dinner was luxurious and fun. We had a private room and were doted upon for every need. Wine pairings were well recommended and head server helped our group select courses that suited us well. The cheese cart blew us away until the dessert cart arrived with an even more impressive and bountiful selection. This was definitely the most inventive menu many of us have experienced. It was extremely pricey but entirely worth it for a splurge for my father-in-law s 70th Birthday.
We would highly recommend the asparagus, lobster, aged beef, and artichoke truffle soup. It s unfair to summarize such a special meal in one paragraph. All seven of us would HIGHLY recommend a dinner at Restaurant Guy Savoy!
